Hawaii’s first American Montessori Society-accredited school, this small, but dynamic Maui school has become a school of choice for children 3 to 14. Its teachers are specially trained to accommodate children of all learning styles and differences. Committed to an exceptional Montessori program and Hawaii’s diversity, the HAIS/ WASC-accredited independent school has responded to more young families moving to rapidly growing South Maui.

This August, it added a new primary class for younger students and launched its brand-new middle school. A future new campus will expand this outstanding school’s excellence. “We are a sound and stable school community of self-motivated, personally and socially responsible, lifelong learners,” says Executive Director Elaine Blasi.

The school’s uniquely diverse student body, enhanced by a supportive financial aid program and by the addition of educational specialists whose skills benefit all students, has garnered the school Hawaii’s first national recognition for the 2007 Leading Edge Award for diversity from the NAIS.
