Created by entrepreneurial community members desiring an independent college prep school for the children of west
Focusing on the pursuit of excellence for each individual student, the school’s challenging curriculum, taught by advanced-degreed teachers, includes a vibrant visual and performing arts program, a strong commitment to technology, beginning in PreK with laptops for grades 6-12, and a special advocacy for sustainability working with the Center for Ecoliteracy.
A third of the student body receives financial aid, including Maui Land & Pine’s generous 50 percent tuition coverage for its fulltime employees’ children. Partnerships with supportive area businesses and community groups reflect west Maui’s pride and ownership of the school and enrich Maui Prep’s fun and adventurous programs and its loving and nurturing sense of ohana.
