This Week’s Open House Pick: Ewa Beach

This Week’s Open House Pick: Ewa Beach

This Ka Makana at Hoakalei town home resale will be open for viewing this Sunday.

I wrote about the Ka Makana at Hoakalei resort community a few weeks back (www.honolulumagazine.com/Honolulu-Magazine/Real-Estate/September-2010/Resort-Living-in-Ewa-Beach). If you’ll recall, I mentioned that the community’s most affordable housing options, the Lehua Series town houses, were temporarily sold out. Well, lo and behold, the first town home resale has hit the market, and it will be open this Sunday.

The three bedroom, three bathroom, two-story town house was built in 2009, so barely lived in. The floorplan, which includes just over 1,200-sq.-ft. of living space, is airy and open, with the kitchen, living room, dining room and entry all flowing into each other. There’s a good-size bedroom on the first floor, which makes for a great office, and on the second floor, you’ll find the large master bedroom with walk-in closet and master bath as well as the third bedroom, with en suite bath. The residence has all the in-demand bells and whistles: two-car garage, stainless-steel GE appliances, upgraded kitchen cabinets, Corian countertops, covered lanai and beautifully landscaped yards.

Open house: Sun., Oct. 17, 2 to 5 p.m.
Money talk: The town house is listed at $429,900.
Contact: Listing agent Edit McDonald, Island Realty Group. 226-2448, editmcdonald@gmail.com. MLS #1012306, www.hicentral.com.
