Open House Pick of the Week: Ewa Beach

Photo Credit: Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties

At first I thought it was odd that you could buy this four-bed, two-bath house in the Ewa Gentry Trovare community in Ewa Beach for about the same price as a condo in central Honolulu, but then I realized it was a short sale. The property is on sale for $560,000 fee simple, a full $35,000 less than what the owners paid for it seven years ago.

The house has 1,500 square feet of living space, a spacious, fenced-in yard, and plenty of parking for multiple cars with its two-car garage and massive driveway. What does this mean? Lots of space for a growing family or ohana living and room for pets as well. There is also a master bedroom and bath located on the first floor, which divides the house up nicely.

Style-wise, the kitchen is in good condition, but could use an update. For the price this house is selling for, it could very well be feasible to plan a full kitchen renovation and get your dream kitchen.

Most of the floors are new laminate, a great solution for Hawaii as it is durable and easy to clean, and looks like hardwood.

The house is right off of Fort Weaver road for easy access to the freeway and town, and is just minutes away from grocery stores and coffee shops.

Interested? There will be an open house May 26 from 1-4 p.m.
