At first I thought it was odd that you could buy this four-bed, two-bath house in the Ewa Gentry Trovare community in Ewa Beach for about the same price as a condo in central Honolulu, but then I realized it was a short sale. The property is on sale for $560,000 fee simple, a full $35,000 less than what the owners paid for it seven years ago.
