Luxury living in Kakaako
If you love the feeling of having a bird’s-eye view of the world, consider this luxury two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo set high on the 43rd floor of the Hawaiki Tower in Kakaako.
The 1,361-square-foot unit, which hit the market eight days ago, is a rarely available “wedge” unit – one of the most desirable stacks in the building. Right now, there’s only one other condo at Hawaiki on the market, but it’s on a lower floor.
The floor-to-ceiling windows throughout the space really let in a lot of light, and of course, the expansive views of the ocean and Diamond Head. The light-colored cabinetry in the kitchen and bathrooms also help to keep things bright.
Amenities include a recreation deck where you’ll find an infinity swimming pool, a Jacuzzi, a tennis court, a children’s play area and a barbecue area.
As a condo dweller, I particularly love that residents can grow their own small garden in a community area by the recreation deck. You can dig in the dirt without having to worry about mowing the lawn, too.
Insomniacs can rest assured: You can occupy your 3 a.m. bouts of sleeplessness at Kissaten Coffee Bar, located on the Waimanu end of the property’s ground floor. They’re open 24 hours.
Fuzz factor: You can have one cat or dog. If you own a Pyrenean Mastiff, though, you’re out of luck–there’s a 40-pound maximum.
Two covered, side-by-side parking stalls are included. They’re close to the elevators, making unloading groceries and packages convenient. When family and friends come to visit, they can park in one of the 13 guest stalls.
You can see it in person this Sunday; there'll be an open house from 2 to 5 p.m. Click here for details.
