Centrally located Salt Lake condo
Country Club Village 6 is the new kid on the block. Built in 2008, it’s the newest condominium in Salt Lake. With 71 percent owner-occupancy, it’s clearly a comfortable place to call home.
This two-bedroom, one-bath corner unit, perched on the 14th floor, is well kept and offers views of the golf course and mountains, something the current owner, who is moving back to Maui for an employment opportunity, really enjoyed. That, and the trade winds. Says realtor Tom Presler of Prudential Locations LLC., the owner “rarely had to turn on the air conditioner.”
The open-design kitchen features lots of counter and storage space. It joins with a spacious living room that opens onto a lanai. While the appliances are original, the current owner wasn’t exactly a gourmet in the kitchen, so they are all like new. There’s also a stacked washer/dryer in the unit.
One of the neat things that sets this unit apart is its lack of the ubiquitous, fragile “popcorn” ceiling found in so many condos on Oahu. The ceilings and the walls have been redone with a smooth finish.
The building’s solid concrete construction keeps things quiet. You won’t hear the neighbors and no worries if you’re belting out the karaoke hits.
Pets are allowed, but you’ve got to keep Spot svelte – there’s a 20-pound weight limit.
The building’s well maintained common areas include a barbecue area with picnic tables, a large pool, a designated dog park (bags provided), walking trails and a recreation center where you can throw parties.
The unit comes with two covered unassigned parking stalls, which means if your car is full of groceries and you see an empty spot close to the door, you can grab it. In addition, residents who don’t use their stalls can offer up their spaces for rent. On top of that, there’s a ton of guest parking (28 spaces!). Get ready to host your friends.
You can check out the open house this Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. (Click here for details.)
