Could You Be the Mulan Disney’s Looking for?

Disney is looking for local actors to play the two lead roles in a live-action remake of “Mulan.”

If hearing someone say “let’s get down to business” makes you want to defeat the Huns, then, boy, do we have a casting call for you. Disney is searching for local actors to play Mulan and the male lead Chen Honghui in a live-action remake of Mulan. The coolest part—besides finally realizing your dream of becoming the next Disney prince or princess—is that the movie is actually set in China, so getting the part means you’d get to live in China for six months during filming.

Mulan casting call

Disney is looking for actorsbetween the ages of 18 and 20 for Mulan and in their 20s for Chenwho are fluent in both the English language and Mandarin Chinese (and being as swift as a coursing river is a plus). If that sounds like you, send your photo and resume to mulancastinghi@disneympp.com and you might get a chance to audition—without having to leave the island
