Bloody Murder at Manoa Valley Theatre

This twisted murder spoof by Ed Sala takes the murder-mystery genre and flips it on its head. What ensues during this “whodunit” performance, filled with stereotypical characters, will deliver plenty of laughter and a surprise ending. Tickets are available online or by phone.

Nas at The Republik

12th Annual Jamba Banana Man Chase 5K and Keiki Fun Run

Come chase life-size bananas around Ala Moana Beach Park and Magic Island for the chance to win free Jamba Juice smoothies for a year. The keiki will enjoy balloon animals, a bounce house and face painting. All proceeds benefit Hawaii Speed and Quickness. To register, visit jambahawaii.com.

Cinco de Mayo Street Festival

This year’s Street Festival will highlight Honolulu’s connection to Latin culture. From beautiful colors, dance and music to folklore and cuisine, the streets will be filled with festive entertainment. Guests 21 or over can purchase wristbands to enjoy drinks on the street and entry to seven nightclubs in Downtown Chinatown.

Flores de Mayo Fiesta

Sunday, May 5

Join the Filipino Community Center for its annual Flores de Mayo celebration. This week-long bash will begin with the Santa Cruzan Pageant and Parade, featuring beautifully dressed reynas and princesas under colorful flower arches with live entertainment to follow.
