6 Fun Things That Happened at Kāhala Mall’s Unlock Your Style

Kāhala Mall shoppers were treated to a fashionista’s treasure trove of prizes, sweets and discounts at shops across the mall on Saturday, March 5. Good thing HONOLULU Magazine’s fashion team was there to share their shopping expertise and provide you with live coverage from the Unlock Your Style event. Here is a look at some of the highlights. 


1. HONOLULU Magazine Fashion Team

Fashion editors Brie Thalmann and Stacey Makiya brought you live coverage from the event on FacebookTwitter and Instagram. Follow them on the HONOLULU Magazine account for future shopping updates. 


2. Awesome Giveaway Prizes 

Early bird shoppers received a complimentary passbook with a personal key code that could be entered into the gift card kiosk to see if they won one of 50 Kāhala Mall gift cards valued at $10, $25 and $50.


3. Happy Girl’s Day!

Shoppers celebrated Girl’s Day with their girlfriends at the mall. 


4. Staycation 

One of the giveaway prizes included a generous one-night stay at The Kāhala Hotel & Resort, with a breakfast buffet for two at The Plumeria Beach House. 



5. Spring Outfits 

A few lucky shoppers snagged cute spring outfits from 33 Butterflies, Adore, Fighting Eel, In My Closet and Macy’s. 




6. Photo Booth 

Shoppers got a free snapshot from the Snapily photo booth. HONOLULU Magazine’s fashion editors couldn’t resist getting a photo souvenir of their own.
