It seems everyone knows someone who’s had a hand in Disney’s Aulani Resort, whether in the kitchen, the shows or contemporary Hawaiian art displayed throughout. Maybe because of this, there’s magic at Aulani for kamaina, too, whether it’s spending a few hours in the Olelo Room, learning Hawaiian from the bartenders or hanging with Mickey and Co. for a few days and threading the resort via a 900-foot-long lazy river.
