A Web Exclusive

Just in time for spring break, the fourth annual weeklong Shop a Le‘a (which translates as “the joy of shopping”) provides a meeting place for high fashion and unique Honolulu style. Local designers, aspiring models and shopping enthusiasts can take advantage of more than 150 special offers. You’ll find in-store sales and giveaways encompassing fashion, health, home décor, travel, music, and food. Hawaii-born fashion runway expert Lynne Hanzawa O’Neill and Project Runway designer Andy South will also make appearances. Additional highlights include the HiFi Fashion Incubator, Modern Luxury Hawaii’s Passport to Luxury evening, a “Suite Pampering” package at Ala Moana Hotel, and Shop a Le‘a’s Star-Studded LA Trip Giveaway.

Be sure to pace yourself this week, so you don’t miss Ala Moana Magazine’s Spring Runway Show at CenterStage Saturday, March 26 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Spectators will be treated to a sneak peek at the hottest spring must-have styles. Hint: think citrus hues, florals, sheers, stripes, black and white, and neon. March 21 through 27, Ala Moana Center, 1450 Ala Moana Blvd., alamoanacenter.com.
