Longest Zipline

Editors' Pick

Hawaii has an assortment of ziplines, but for adrenaline junkies who want the longest, biggest experience, there’s only one place to go: Piiholo Ranch on Maui. Two participants can scream down the 2,800-foot cable simultaneously at 40 miles per hour at heights between 42 feet and 600 feet. “The only way to really understand what we’re all about is to come out and try it,” says Jeff Baldwin, the general manager. The zipline course contains three other side-by-side ziplines, and the company is also a fully operational ranch complete with horses, in case you’d rather ride than slide. 325 Waiahiwi Road, Makawao, Maui, (808) 572-1717,
