I met this lovely man when he was promoting his book, over 20 years ago at the Barber's Point BX. What a charmer! I still read his book (which he graciously signed!) It was/is such a good book, that I bought 11 copies at that time to give as gifts!
Now that "V" is back on the tube, I remember his classic fall off of the stool after the V babies were born! The memory of that clip still makes me laugh!
I have been on the mainland now for over 20 years, and it warms my heart that Joe is still on the news there.
