Oh, and he’s also President of the United States of America. Is it any wonder our readers chose him as best local role model? After capturing 72 percent of Hawaii’s votes in last November’s election with a 45 percent margin (larger than any other state), it’s clear that Obama has become Hawaii’s favorite son.
