Our readers have expressed their love for Diamond Head Theatre in past editions of “Best of Honolulu,” and they’ve done it once more this year. Founded in 1915, DHT is the oldest continuously operating theater in Hawaii, even producing “Blackout Revues” during the World War II years. This month, on the 20th, the theater opens Gypsy, based loosely on the memoirs of famous striptease artist Gypsy Rose Lee, and featuring great songs such as “Everything’s Coming Up Roses.” 520 Makapuu Ave., 733-0274,
