“I love capturing people as real as they can get,” says Geralyn Camarillo, who founded Hokulii Images in 1999. Camarillo, a one-woman team, shoots a family’s most important moments, from couples getting married, expectant mothers, growing keiki to couples celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. She says many of her subjects are repeat clients, some becoming her close friends. Camarillo, who studied photography and film in Washington before moving back home in 1998, just celebrated the 10th anniversary of her business. 845-4658, www.hokuliiimages.com
