Farrell’s Hawaii nails the basics of a quintessential milkshake—quality ice cream, whole milk, a range of flavored syrups—and goes the extra mile with sprinkles, a cherry and whipped cream made in-house daily. “It’s one of the first things you taste, so we make sure it’s special,” says Clarence Goya, general manager of the Pearlridge restaurant. You don’t need to limit yourself to the menu’s 11 flavors. If you can think of a custom combination, Farrell’s can probably whip it up.
