You Hungry

Corner of South and Halekauwila streets and on the the corner of Alakea and Beretania

In 2005, we named Puuwainani, on the corner of Halekauwila and South streets, as the best lunch wagon in town. This year, our readers voted the same wagon as their favorite. Coincidence? No way. Joel and Jeanelle Cabais bought the wagon last year and renamed it You Hungry, but the gourmet and uncommonly delicious menu remains unchanged, including the signature sweet wasabi sauce. Good news for Bishop Street fans: the Cabaises have just opened up another You Hungry lunch wagon on the corner of Alakea and Beretania.
