​Say aloha to a new trailer for Disney’s animated feature film Moana in theaters this Thanksgiving.


Walt Disney Animation Studios on Sunday, June 12 revealed a first look of the trailer starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Auli‘i Cravalho. We’re super stoked to see McKinley High School alumn Johnson as the voice of mighty demigod Maui along with Mililani girl Cravalho as a spirited teenager Moana. The two embark on an epic adventure sailing across the open ocean.

Cravalho’s epic reaction to being named a Disney princess won us over. We can’t wait to see this local girl on the big screen as Disney’s first Polynesian princess. 


The film will be released in theaters Nov. 23.
