If Carly Simon had frequented Glazer’s Coffee on South King Street, she might have sung about flowers in her coffee instead of clouds. Here, a latte isn’t just a drink, but a canvas for barista Xiao Yi Su’s latte art: bears, kittens, rabbits, pigs, hearts, rosettas, a fern-like design. He draws patterns by maneuvering the steamed milk pitcher as he pours; eyes, nose and flower details are drawn with a thermometer tip dipped in the espresso.
