Malibu Shirts

Walking through Malibu Shirts at Waikiki Beach Walk on Lewers Avenue is like traveling back to old Oahu, when surf breaks weren’t crowded and pineapple fields dominated the landscape. Amid the swimwear and hooded sweatshirts are displays of old canoe paddling trophies, faded photographs of Rabbit Kekai and Gene Kaupiko surfing in Waikiki, and magazine ads promoting tourism in Hawaii dating back to the 1940s. You can even find classic T-shirts for Primo Beer, Wing Coffee, Love’s Bakery, Waikiki Surf Club and Rainbow Drive-In.

Waikiki Beach Walk, 226 Lewers St., 923-0306, www.malibushirts.com.
