Thomas Park has a personal goal: collect at least 100 pairs of Alden shoes. With 40 pairs already, he’s well on his way. Of course, it helps that he owns Leather Soul, an upscale men’s footwear boutique in the Royal Hawaiian Center that carries the 124-year-old shoe line exclusively in Hawaii. The boutique first opened downtown in 2004; this store, which opened in January, attracts shoe connoisseurs from around the world. It’s one of only a handful of stores in the U.S. that carry the ultra-exclusive Edward Green line.
