Tucked away behind the 7-eleven near the beginning of Waikiki, The Hideaway has long been the dive bar of choice for Waikikians, thanks to its sociable atmosphere, extensive jukebox and, of course, the daily Power Hour, from 6 to 7 p.m., when all domestic beers and well drinks are just a buck. The bar’s tiny parking lot often gets packed tighter than a sardine can, but if you get boxed in, just ask nicely and someone will move their car for you.

The Hideaway Bar has a great following of devoted clients. Its a great place to relax and enjoy an evening out, away from home. A friendly and warm setting with nice servers. First visit there was back in: 1998. sports Tv, Football Games. And Cold Drinks. Deserves MORE INK and AIR time, though.
