Since Jan Fukunaga and her late husband, Jerry, opened Eggs ’n Things in 1974, it’s satisfied the appetites of ravenous night owls, tourists and early-morning workers. The menu features omelets made from local eggs delivered almost daily (it churns out 30,000 of its spinach, bacon and cheese omelet every month), fresh fish and pancakes that look more like dessert than a typical morning meal, piled with whipped cream, macadamia nuts, chocolate chips and ripe fruit. Stop in before 8 a.m. or after noon to avoid the sometimes hour-long wait. Open 11 p.m. to 2 p.m.
