Tuscan Style Wine Pairing Dinner

Tango Contemporary Cafe will host its next Third Tuesday at Tango wine dinner on Tuesday, October 20th at 6:30 p.m. Chef Goran Streng has created a special 3-course menu pairing wines with tastes of Tuscany.

Appetizer Course

  • Parma Prosciutto with Figs
  • Hau’ula Tomato and Fresh Mozzarella Salad with Basil
  • Calamari Steak with Lemon Garlic Aioli

Paired with a Ruffino “Lumina “ Pinot Grigio 2007  from Venezia Giulia, Italy

Main Course
Big Island Red Veal Osso Buco with Gremolata, Pappardelle Pasta
Paired with Ruffino, Chianti Classico “ Reserva Ducale” 2005 and a Ruffino, Chianti Classico Reserva “ Reserva Ducale O’ro “ 2004 ( 3oz pour) from Tuscany, Italy

Dessert Course
Kona Coffee Tiramisu
Paired with Jackson- Triggs, Vidal Ice Wine from Ontario, Canada

The three-course dinner is available for $48.00 plus tax and tip. Limited seating.
