Summer Tastes at The Kahala
The Kahala Hotel & Resort hosts two delectable events on back to back weekends at the hotel.

First, executive chef Wayne Hirabayashi will present a "Sizzling Summer Soiree Culinary Class" this Saturday July 17, 2010 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. , in the Waialae Ballroom.
You can learn to cook like a pro at this hands-on demonstration and lunch.Chef Hirabayashi will teach patrons how to prepare fresh relishes and salsas and barbeque techniques featuring Chef Wayne's favorite chicken, pork, fish, and beef dishes.
The class and lunch is offered for $50 plus tax and 20% gratuity
Then on Saturday, July 24th, The Kahala will host a special tasting event called "Taste of Kahala". The event is an opportunity to enjoy a variety of food and wine selections from the Kahala's signature restaurants: Hoku's, Seaside Grill, The Veranda, and the Plumeria Beach House.
Some of the items on the menu include:
- Hoku's famous Ahi Musubi;
- Spicy Ahi Summer Rolls from Seaside Grill;
- Plumeria Beach House's Peanut Miso Glazed Butterfish
- Chocolate Raspberry Crumb Bar from The Veranda
The tasting takes place from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. at the Plumeria Beach House and Lawn.
The cost is Adults $70; Children (4-12) $35 plus tax and 20% gratuity.
