Pinot Noir Dinner at Tango

Tango Contemporary Cafe's "Third Tuesday at Tango" wine pairing dinner this month will feature the pinot noir varietal with a special menu paired and prepared by executive chef Goran Streng.

Here's a look at the 4-course menu.

First course

Sauteed Branzino Seabass
On Smoked Bacon and Sugar Snap Peas
Paired with Ruffino, Pinot Grigio “Lumina” 2009 (Italy)

Second course

Roasted Long Island Duck Breast
Ragout of Lentils and Foie Gras Demi Glace, Kahuku Corn Puree
Paired with Nobilo “ Icon “ Pinot Noir 2009 (New Zealand)

Third course

Assortment of Flavored Goats Cheese
Truffled, Herb Crusted and Walnuts
Rex Golaith, Pinot Noir NV (France VDP)

Fourth course

Apple Tart with Calvados Cream
Paired with Normandin-Mercier Pineau des Charentes ‘Rose” N.V.

The four-course dinner with wine pairings is offered for $45.00 (plus tax and gratuity).
