Cecile Sebastian, D.D.S.
Specialty: General Dentistry
Celebrating their 20th anniversary serving Hawaii’s people and patients from the mainland USA, Asia and Europe, Dr. Sebastian and her team of professionals are very excited to welcome new patients to their practice. The office is centrally located in downtown Honolulu with relaxing views of blue skies and the lush, green gardens of Tamarind Park.
“By bringing together our expertise in cosmetic, implant and neuromuscular dentistry, we develop healthy, beautiful smiles for patients,” says Dr. Sebastian of her patient-centered philosophy. “We take our time developing several treatment options, then sit with our patients for thorough explanations of the procedures risks, benefits and fees. This allows our patients to make educated, informed decisions regarding their own care and they can decide on how we can help them.”
Their thriving practice combines state-of-the-art technology—the result of consistent and ongoing education by her and her entire team. The CEREC CAD/CAM machine is available for the fabrication of crowns, veneers, fillings and bridges in one day. A second cone beam CT machine allows for a more thorough diagnostic process and less invasive surgical implant procedures. “In some instances, we can even build bone, using a patient’s own natural growth proteins for those who had previously been told they could not have implants. This is a major development to maintain bone structure to preserve or improve a patient’s facial features.”
Giving back is also a priority for Dr. Sebastian who was a recipient of the 2014 YWCA Leader Luncheon Award. She is the founder of a non-profit, “Smiles For Success” which helps women in transition assisting them in returning to the work force and also serves on the Board of the National Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped. She also partners with the Hawaii Food Bank annually to raise awareness and encourage donations from the dental community.
