Watch volcanoes erupt!

Published:

Sometimes we forget Hawaii isn't the only place in the world with active volcanoes. Here's astounding footage of four different vents erupting simulataneously in Kamchatka. The footage was captured by a Russian film crew using panorama video technology, so you can pan around as if you were on the helicopter yourself, looking around in all directions.

The black cinder cones and smooth flows of lava looks much like vents on the Big Island, but to see them in the endless frozen expanse of Kamchatka is unearthly. Looks like two different kinds of hell in the same place.
