Hibiscus Stamen

Cordelia Bailey

(Canon Rebel XT)

“This is a close-up of the stamen of a hibiscus flower growing in my yard in Anahola. I love it because it shows that even the most minute part of the flower is majestic, with fascinating shapes and rich colors. Usually we focus on the whole flower, but narrowing in on a tiny segment can be quite rewarding!”
