Here at HONOLULU Magazine, we typically write about great locally made food, cutting edge cuisine, the whole farm-to-table movement, etc. But in everyday life, most of us pop into fast food chains when a quick refueling is all you need. So, as a downtown worker, currently eating at my desk, I just have to say: Would it kill anybody to open a Burger King down here?
I mean, I can only eat so many Spicy Chicken sandwiches from Jack in the Box, and the Fort Street Mall McDonald’s always just looks kind of sketchy and ill-kempt. I want a Whopper with cheese, no pickles, no onions! Is that so wrong?
