Best egg puffs in Honolulu: Cafe de Tim

The best egg puffs in Honolulu? At Cafe de Tim, a little stand outside of Maunakea Marketplace.

Egg puffs are a newish phenomenon (Williams Sonoma now even sells a mix and egg puff iron), though Cafe de Tim has been making them for at least a year. It has perfected this Hong Kong street sweet: it's super crispy on the outside and almost custardy on the inside.

As always, eat it as soon as possible. As if you could resist.

$3, 1120 Maunakea St, at the entrance to Maunakea Marketplace
