Brasserie du Vin is one of the few restaurants to offer its regular dinner menu on Valentine's Day, in addition to a four-course dinner ($45/$70 with wine pairings) with caraway-crusted ahi and crispy skin opakapaka. Another bonus? Valentine's Day falls on Tuesday, when bottles of wine are half-off. 545-1115

Catch dinner and a movie at Doris Duke Theatre, featuring a French buffet by EAT Catering and Cafe, music by Hotclub of Hulaville, followed by a screening of French romantic comedy La Fée.

Special menu selections at Hula Grill Waikiki include rock shrimp and spinach ravioli, butter poached lobster with kabocha squash gnocchi, red velvet mascarpone cake.  923-4852 or

There's a host of options at The Kahala: from February 10-19, a prixe fixe ($115/$160 with wine pairings) at Hoku's; an aphrodisiac buffet ($70) at the Plumeria Beach House on February 10, 11, 14, 17 and 18; or go all out with a custom-designed five-course meal ($350/couple) for up to 4 people in a private beachside cabana. Nobu's seven-course menu includes a seared hotate tiradito with mochi yuba, butter poached lobster, a wagyu beef duo and finishes with a Pinot Noir truffle with burnt caramel ice cream. 237-6999 or

Orchids' Valentine's Day menu ($89) is available from February 11 to Feburary 14, featuring a salad of hearts (heart of palm and romaine hearts), lobster with caviar, and a braised veal shank. 923-2311 or

The Pig and the Lady's red-themed, six-course dinner ($75) from February 12-16 starts with salt-baked beets and raspberries, includes bun rieu (a crab and tomato rice noodle soup) and ends with a haw flake dessert with olive oil cake and shiso.

At Prima, the five-course menu (subject to change, $60) includes a heart of palm and lobster salad, agnolotti with cauliflower and uni, duck breast with beets. Regular menu also available. 888-8933

Salt's V-day menu ($75/$100 with wine) starts with an aphrodisiac shooter with oyster, uni, cava, quail egg and grapefruit "caviar" and ends with a chocolate terrine. 744-7567

Get carried away at Shokudo with your honey(toast). It's the usual dinner menu at Shokudo, but from February 6 through Feb 14, candles and balloons will provide ambiance. 941-3701

Vino is offering a five course menu ($55) beginning with a crabcakes in a lobster-uni sauce, a main course option of steak and handmade trofie pasta, closing out with a chocolate tiramisu and raspberry sorbet. 533-4476
