World Premiere: Chocolate Delight (Sponsored)

Finding that unique gift for the foodie in your life has never been easy. It seems every idea you've had for a new restaurant, dessert or bottle of wine, they've already been there, sampled and sipped that.

Here's a delicious solution. Padovani's Chocolates has teamed up with Malcolm and Nadine Leong of The Sake Shop to offer an unexpected delight for the holidays -- sake ganache-filled chocolates.

Chef Padovani first paired his ganache-filled creations, ranging from matcha green tea to caramelized apple banana, at a special sake and chocolate pairing at The Sake Shop in October. The new, limited edition confection features the same velvety European-style chocolates the Padovani brothers are known for and matches it with rich, sake-infused ganache. The result is a luxuriously smooth, sophisticated treat that makes for the perfect gift or an indulgent sweet for yourself.

Sample it for the first time at a special tasting next Sunday, December 16 at The Sake Shop, 2 - 5 p.m. A limited number of pre-packed sake ganache chocolate boxes and signature ganache chocolate boxes will be available for sale at the event. Orders will also be taken for pick-up just in time for Christmas giving. Call 536-4567 or e-mail owner@padovanichocolates.com.

Padovani's sake ganache-filled chocolate premiere will be at The Sake Shop, 1461 S. King St. Yoshiharu Suzuki of World Sake Imports will also be on hand to answer any sake questions. Call 947-7253 with any questions.
