Bobby and Joung Nakamoto’s booth at the Saturday Waimea Hawaiian Homestead Farmers’ Market is really a 50-seat weekly sit down, pop-up restaurant with the best breakfast menu in town: omelets flipped to order with fried rice, eggs Benedict, saimin, bi bim bap, curry and rice, sushi rolls and much more. Help yourself to spicy homemade kim chee (made with Nakamoto farm produce) and dessert treats made by Shirley Nakamoto. At $5 a plate, you can’t beat it.
