St. Patrick's Church

Completed in February 1929, just months before the Great Wall Street Crash, St. Patrick’s Church incorporated the best of everything, from classic Romanesque architecture to stained glass and church bells imported from Brussels. The parish, when it was first established, stretched from Kaimuki all the way to Waimanalo, and Father Thomas Choo says the church still attracts people from all over the island. “We’ve even got people who come in regularly from Kapolei,” he says.
