From a case of the sniffles to stitches and broken bones, if you need attention fast, and the ailment or injury isn’t life threatening, Kahala Urgent Care can handle it. The best part is that it’s walk-in appointments only and also accepts insurance. “I’ve seen things here that I haven’t seen in all of my years of emergency medicine,” says Dr. Robert Ruggieri. The weirdest? An infection of the mouth that turned the patient’s gums an eerie grayish-black. Ew.
