You know and love his pastries but JJ Praseuth also whips up tasty fusion cuisine in his Waialae bistro.

JJ’s is probably most famous for its decadent chocolate pyramids, but it’s also a zesty fusion restaurant. The unusual combination of dragons and lotuses adjacent a doorway resembling the Eiffel Tower should tip you off to the unique food combinations at JJ’s, including pizza with thick strips of eggplant, covered in green curry sauce, and Khao Soi Luangphbang, which combines fettuccini and crispy noodles topped with quail eggs. Luangkhot “JJ” Praseuth, owner and chef, describes his food as “using the same techniques as French cooking combined with Laotian ingredients.”
