More than 31,000 athletes participated in the 42nd Honolulu Marathon on Sunday, Dec. 14, 2014. Kenyan athlete Wilson Chebet was the first to cross the finish line to win the marathon title. Joyce Chepkirui became the first-ever female winner from Kenya.
Two-time Grammy Award winner and multi-platinum singer/songwriter Jason Mraz performed with the all-female pop, rock group Raining Jane at the Neal Blaisdell Concert Hall. Mraz is best known for hits “I’m Yours,” “I Won’t Give Up,” and “The Remedy (I Won’t Worry).”
