The Honolulu Night Market wrapped up the last holiday shopping event for 2013 with a Rogue Christmas celebration.
On Jan. 4, The Ugly Sweater Run featured participants wearing ugly sweaters to the 5K run. Participants also donated new toys to the local Toys For Tots chapter.
The original Ramen Burger made its Honolulu debut at Taste Table on Wednesday, Jan. 15. People waited in line for hours to get taste of a hamburger patty in between grilled ramen noodles. Ramen Burger creator Keizo Shimamoto prepped 700 Ramen Burgers for the debut event.

NFL all-star football players competed in the Pro Bowl game on Jan. 26. The Pro Bowl game kicked off the week leading up to the Super Bowl. NFL greats included Jerry Rice, Deion Sanders, Drew Brees, Nick Foles, Andrew Luck, Cam Newton, Jamaal Charles, LeSean McCoy, Matt Forte, Jimmy Graham, Josh Gordon, Alfred Morris and Desean Jackson.
On Jan. 26, the 62nd Cherry Blossom Festival officially kicked off at Honolulu Country Club.

HONOLULU Magazine announced the launch of HONOLULU Fashion Week on Nov. 7 and 8. Hawaii will host the two-day international fashion event, a collaboration between HONOLULU Magazine and Japan Fashion Week. On Feb. 8, Marine Corps Base Hawaii Kaneohe Bay's 2014 Swamp Romp participants raced through mud and dirt. Individuals and teams competed in the 3.5-mile run through the Nuupia ponds, Fort Hase Beach and challenging obstacles.
