At AGU, they don’t just love ramen, they live it! AGU Ramen creates high-quality, upscale ramen made completely from scratch. Executive chef and owner Hisashi Uehara has perfected his techniques through years of hard, disciplined work and continues to find new recipes to keep his menu fresh and intriguing. Each day, more than 1,560 pounds of pork are boiled over 24 hours to create AGU’s signature rich tonkotsu broth. Noodles are made fresh each day using a special house recipe. The level of expertise that goes into preparation, along with a little aloha, is what elevates a humble bowl of ramen into something extraordinary.
