New to Do in Kailua

Annabella Boutique

If you’re looking for a dress, try Annabella Boutique, a new women’s clothing store on Kailua Road. It’s owned by the company that owns San Lorenzo Brazilian Bikinis.

Manager Carlos Carriker says the shop is constantly getting in new, affordable merchandise—mostly dresses, with a handful of other clothing items, as well as jewelry.

Tamura’s Fine Wine and Liquors

Tamura’s Fine Wine and Liquors has made its way to the Windward Side, specifically to the Aikahi Park Shopping Center in Kailua.

Tamura’s opened late in 2007, but it’s taken Kailuans awhile to discover. Manager Jason Fukeda says many people didn’t know about the store until the 2008 holiday season, when business really started to pick up.

About half of the shop is dedicated to wine. A well-stocked poke bar runs along the back wall with roughly 20 items. There are also two aisles of liquor, two aisles of gourmet foods such as chips, dips and olives, a section with refrigerated items like eggs and milk, and a good selection of beer.

Hours: Daily from 9:30 a.m. to  9 p.m., except Sundays, when it closes at 8 p.m.
