Hawaiʻi Craftsmen, currently in its 50th anniversary year, celebrates fine craft as a vital and enriching part of life and supports the creative growth of its member artists and the education of the general public. Its programs provide venues for shared experiences and communication and promote the organization and its members throughout the state of Hawaiʻi and beyond. Artworks glazed and fired at the North Shore event will be juried by experts Shigeru Miyamoto (contemporary category) and Marilyn Sochi Naka (traditional category) for an exhibition in September.
