Motown Valentine:A Live Tribute to Motown Era Hits

Feb 14, 2020
08:30 PM until 11:00 PM

The soulful jams of the ’60’s will be recreated with an epic 10-piece live band and a dozen of Honolulu’s fiercest soul singers including American Idol finalists DeAndre Brackensick and Big Mox, Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award winners Paula Fuga, Yoza and Maryanne Ito, local favorites Izik, Keilana, Mindy Smokestack, Kahnma K, Melodie Soul, Melissa Diallo, and Jared Ming.

The band’s wall of sound will be complete with brass horns, keys and backing vocalists. We will be rolling out Motown era classic hits like Tina Turner’s “Proud Mary,” Stevie Wonder’s “Superstition,” Sam Cooke’s “Cupid” and “My Girl” from the Temptations.

Original opening sets will be provided by Hawaiian Soul artist Paula Fuga and nu blues band Kings of Spade. A special cabaret performance will feature Violetta Beretta.
