Come celebrate Ku’s bird and other Hawaiian seabirds and wildlife at this year’s Manu O Ku Festival.
One of the highlights of the day will be a Wildlife Costume Contest for all ages. Come dressed up as your favorite wildlife species or character to show your support of wildlife conservation and preservation and win prizes.
Enjoy other activities as you walk through the beautifully manicured grounds of ʻIolani Palace such as educational games and activities, Hawaiian music and dance, a tour of the area to look for Manu O Ku (bring binoculars), spotting scopes so you can view the Manu O Ku parents and chicks up close and personal, snacks and refreshments, photo and video displays, a variety of short programs by several individuals and organizations to spotlight, celebrate and teach you about our amazing Manu O Ku, the official City Bird of Honolulu, and so much more!
This event is free and open to the public and is for all ages!
