Legal Needs & Wants for Small Businesses: Hawaii Freelancers Network

Feb 21, 2019
12:00 PM until 01:30 PM

Impact Hub HNL hosts monthly meetings of the Hawaii Freelancer's Network for all freelancers, entrepreneurs, and small business owners. In February, we'll be talking legal issues with lawyer Dean Wang of Luminate Law in Downtown Honolulu.

Dean will be covering some of the best legal practices for small businesses.

Legal Needs: What you absolutely need to have in place as a small business to be compliant with the law and to avoid major legal risks.

Legal Wants: What you should have and what you should do as a business owner to minimize legal risks and to handle problems as they arise.

Legal Good-To-Haves: What would be “good-to-haves” to substantially protect your business as a going concern.

Following in the presentation there will be time for Q&A with Dean.

More about Dean: Dean H. Wang represents companies and individuals in corporate and regulatory matters. He adds value to his clients by protecting their interests, guiding them through complex laws that govern their operations, and helping them develop innovative, business savvy solutions. Mr. Wang takes the time to understand your industry, your business, and your way of doing things so that he can give you valuable guidance and help you achieve your goals.

Prior to co-founding Luminate Law, Mr. Wang worked at some of the world’s largest law firms on the east coast. He received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and he earned his Juris Doctor and Masters in Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis.
