Jhola, a Nepalese film about Sati culture prevalent until the 1920s follows a woman’s hardships and sacrifices following her husband’s death.
This event will be held in connection with the East-West Center Gallery exhibition titled, Capturing a Legacy: Four Generations of Nepalese Photographers, on view until January 6th.
Gallery Admission is free. Parking on the UH Mānoa campus is normally free and ample on Sundays.
