Honolulu Theatre for Youth presents “Home of the Brave”

Description

Inspired by interviews with military children from all branches of the services, Lee Cataluna has crafted a remarkable portrait showcasing the loyalty and fierce pride - as well as the anxiety - that comes with being part of a family that is serving in our nation's military.

 

Developed as a co-commission with La Jolla Playhouse, this play tells the story of some of Hawaii's bravest kids. (Age 7+)

 

TICKETS

Tickets will be held at Will Call on the day of the performance.

 

Keiki 2 and under are free. Please ask for a "Toddler Ticket" when you pick up your tickets at will call the day of the show.

 

MILITARY DISCOUNT

We offer U.S. military personnel, spouses, children, and veterans a 25% discount off our ticket prices.

Please present a valid military ID at will call when you collect your tickets.

 

PEFORMANCES

Located at Tenney Theatre at 229 Queen Emma Square (Cathedral of St. Andrew).

 

The performance is 1 hour long.

 

Opening Night: Feb. 8 at 7 p.m.

 

Saturdays: Feb. 9, 16, 23 at 4:30 p.m.

 

Sensory Friendly/ASL Interpreted Performance: Feb. 23 at 11 a.m.
