Description

The Hawai‘i Open presented by the Hawai‘i Tourism Authority is a three-day men's and women's professional tennis tournament held at the Blaisdell Arena in Honolulu.

 

Tournament action begins Friday, Dec. 21, and features top-ranked tennis players from the ATP and WTA tours, with six male and six female tennis players including Asia’s No. 1 men’s tennis player Kei Nishikori and two-time Grand Slam champion Garbine Muguruza. Other stars include Canadian Genie Bouchard, Ryan Harrison, CoCo Vandeweghe, and more.

 

Three rounds of single-elimination matches featuring edge-of-your-seat action will be played over three days in a best two-out-of-three set format. Third sets will be played as a tie break with the first to 10 points declared the winner.

 

Daily tournament ticket prices begin at $25 and three-day passes begin at $70. Tickets can be purchased at www.hawaiitennisopen.com and www.ticketmaster.com.

 

The Hawaii Open will include a special charity session Saturday evening at 6pm after tournament match play to benefit Hawaii Volcano disaster relief charities. The session will include match play with Hawaii Open tennis players and special guests like actor Daniel Dae Kim* and Hawaii congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard. All tickets to the special charity session are only $20
