What better place to stage a haunted attraction than a village where people have actually experienced the supernatural? Haunted Plantation returns for the 14th year at Hawai‘i’s Plantation Village in Waipahu with actors in crazy-good makeup who will scare the crap out of you. As in previous years, arrive early to make sure you get to walk through the village homes before closing—the line gets long fast. New this year, get a VIP pass for $30 that lets you jump to the front of the line. On Halloween, the attraction will close at 9 p.m.
Ticket booth opens at 6:15 p.m. Ages 13 and up; anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. $15, $20 fast pass, $30 for VIP front-of-the-line access, cash only
